Modenas Elegan EX (2023) is a premium maxi scooter bike powered by Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke SOHC, 250 cc engine with CVT transmission. It produces 22.1 Hp power at 7000 RPM and 22.4 Nm maximum torque at 6500 RPM.​

Modenas Elegan EX has a whole new elegance appearance and provides extra safety (Dual Channel ABS) for a superior riding experience. In addition to an improved exterior design, now comes with a whole new aggressive projector headlight complimented with the unique "X" shaped taillight thats lumminate the street at night. Elegan EX also fulfills the long-haul rider's major need: comfort & fuel efficiency through wide and ergonomic seat for both rider and pillion as well as EURO 4 engine configuration.

The 2023 Modenas Elegan 250 EX scooter has been updated for the Malaysian market and is now priced at RM16,997 as opposed to the 2020 Modenas Elegan 250 ABS's RM15,315 asking price. The Yamaha XMax costs RM22,298 while the Honda Forza 250 costs RM25,388. Other local rivals for the Elegan 250 EX include the Moto XDV250, which costs RM18,888.

The 250 cc, single-cylinder mill of the Elegan 250 is now liquid-cooled, EFI-fed, and complies with Euro 4 emissions standards. According to the manufacturer, the CVT gearbox and belt drive deliver 22.4 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 22.4 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm to the rear wheels.

Bosch two-channel ABS is standard, clamping 260 mm front and 240 mm rear hydraulic discs, on 14-inch front wheels and 13-inch rear wheels. Telescopic forks up front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the back make up the Elegan 250 EX's suspension system.

The Elegan 250 EX's front has been updated, and it now has a modern LED projector headlamp that is accompanied by DRLs. The LED turn signals and 'X'-shaped tail light are both still present.

The Elegan 250 EX utilises a blend of analogue gauges for speed and engine rotations with a monochrome LCD panel in the centre for riding conveniences. It also has a USB charging plug in the front cowl. The LCD panel shows extra data including the voltmeter, clock, odometer, fuel level, engine temperature, and an engine service reminder.

The Elegan 250 EX is reported as weighing 198 kg, with the fuel tank under the floorboard holding 12.4 litres. The Elegan 250 EX is offered in Matte Silver Crystal and Petroleum Blue, and a two-year or 20,000 mile warranty is offered against manufacturing flaws.
