In India, Suzuki unveiled the "V-Strom SX," a new sports-adventure model based on the Gixxer 250's oil-cooled single-cylinder engine. It sports 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels that are tuned, and it carries the moniker "Master of Adventure." In addition, IF Suzuki Malaysia provide and introduction to Malaysia, it is eagerly & surely anticipated!

Turn-by-turn navigation is also standard equipped!

Suzuki has unveiled the "V-Strom SX," a new sports and adventure vehicle that is most likely based on the Gixxer 250, a well-liked single-cylinder oil-cooled vehicle in India. It is significantly slimmer and lighter than the existing 2-cylinder model V-Strom 250, and the front and rear wheels have been modified to 19 inches in front and 17 inches in back.

The engine's use of the "Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS)" is what is most notable. The Gixxer 250's single-cylinder engine and small head, which differed from the oil cooling methods of the 1980s, may inspire hopes of extension to other models when it was first presented. The concept was eventually released as an adventurous model, which allowed for raising the displacement because to the tiny size of the cylinder in comparison to the crankcase.

One of the best options for a cross-over model with a variety of purposes is the concept of the new model, which is outfitted with a more potent and lightweight engine than the 2-cylinder model (although it should be mentioned that the 2-cylinder has a rich low-speed torque and neither is superior).

Based on the well-liked oil-cooled single-cylinder engine model, the Gixxer 250 in India, Suzuki has revealed a new sports adventure vehicle, the V-STROM SX. Unlike the rounded forms of the V-STROM 250 and 650 versions, the design has an angular body line that is reminiscent of legendary DR-Z racers from the 1980s. However, they are now 19 inches at the front and 17 inches at the back instead of the Gixxer 250's cast designs. Disc brakes are present on both the front and rear brakes. Although it is possible that the LED octagonal headlamp and the Gixxer 250 naked variant are the same, this has not been established. Additionally an LED, the taillight.

The Suzuki Ride Connect function, which enables smartphone and Bluetooth connection, supports turn-by-turn navigation and incoming phone calls, as well as the Suzuki Easy Start technology, which starts the engine with just one push of a mobile button (the availability of this feature in Japan is unknown). Also included is a USB charging port on the left side of the metre cluster.

Although in the Japanese market, full-fledged off-road vehicles have been eliminated from the range and only the V-Strom 250 for adventure touring remains, the V-Strom SX might be successful as a sporty crossover model if it is introduced.

If it were to be released in Malaysia, it is predicted to cost roughly RM 22,000. However, it is very likely that the price will be greater given the recent rise in the cost of raw materials. However, it appears to be well-liked! Suzuki Malaysia, heed my request!

The bike has a number of features. Knuckle guards, a windscreen, and separate front and back seats give it an adventurous appearance. The oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine uses MotoGP technology and has an under cowl. The exhaust system resembles that of the Gixxer 250. The rear suspension has a 7-step preload adjustment mechanism, while the front fork stroke is 120mm. Additionally convenient are the Suzuki Easy Start System and USB outlet.

With a design philosophy that differs from that of oil cooling in the 1980s and is thought to be similar in structure to water cooling, the engine that uses the Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) is particularly compact from the cylinder up.

Turn-by-turn navigation is available on the monochrome LCD metre panel, which has "Suzuki Ride Connect" installed. Other data is also shown, including the number of incoming calls, SMS messages, speed alerts, and the amount of battery life left on the phone.
The numbers in the specifications table differ, and the wheelbase is given as 1445mm. The 205mm of ground clearance is fairly significant, and it appears to operate admirably on flat terrain. The ECU appropriately regulates the injection system based on the driving situation.
The bike features an LCD meter. The Indian specification comes with turn-by-turn navigation, but it is not available in the Philippine specification. It is unclear what the Japanese specification will be like. Will Suzuki Malaysia bring in the highest specs? The bike also comes equipped with a knuckle guard.
The headlight assembly uses an LED three-vertical-eye design that is probably shared with the GSX-250. The expression is made with turn signals that resemble bulbs and a big screen. The V-Strom family's standard beak + down fender is used by the fender.
Similar to the Gixxer 250 series, the engine has a new generation oil-cooled unit. The head region is remarkably small.
The muffler has two holes and is similar to the Gixxer 250 in many ways.
The 140/70-17 tyre is on the back wheel. Cast wheels and tubeless tyres are used on the front and back.
While the on-road-focused V-Strom has 17-inch front and rear wheels, the V-Strom SX has a 19-inch front wheel to improve rideability.
The seat seems to be cosy for extended journeys. The single-cylinder engine's slimness should allow for a strong foot grip despite the seat's 835mm height.
The step uses a shock-absorbing rubber.
The headlight appears to be the same unit as the Suzuki Gixxer 250, with vertically aligned LED lights that are characteristic of Suzuki. The turn signals use bulb type signals.
Speed, RPM, fuel level, gear position, and other information are displayed on the liquid crystal metre. Turn-by-turn navigation is also supported by the India specification.
Particularly from the cylinder up, the engine with the Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) is remarkably small. Its structure is claimed to be comparable to water cooling and differs from oil cooling in the 1980s.
With a tank that is simple to grip and a seat that has solid padding, the comfortable ride is made possible. The purpose of the Indian-style sari guard is to keep sari from getting tangled in the chain.
The brakes, which come with ABS as standard equipment, can produce enough braking power for the road. Compared to 21-inch off-road brakes, the initial braking is more powerful.
The step is equipped with anti-vibration rubber. It can be quickly changed into an off-road style step by removing it.

In the picture, the rider is 175 cm tall. Although both ankles are free-floating, the thumb is heavily burdened. Despite the body being small and the seat height being 835mm, the foot feeling is better than anticipated. By the way, it was claimed that a person who was 160 cm or shorter in height and had undergone testing by other media experienced zero issues (there was no sample of 150cm height). The slightly wider handlebars provide the rider a sense of assurance.
