Suzuki Malaysia has indeed been working hard since it was taken over by a new distributor. Suzuki Malaysia has so far introduced 13 new models, including the Raider R150 Fi, GSX-S150, GSX-R150, Burgman 400, SV650, V-Strom 650XT, GSX-S750, Katana, GSX-R1000, GSX-R1000R, V-Strom 1050XT, GSX-S1000, with the Suzuki GSX-S1000GT being the most recent.
Three of the 13 models have engines with a capacity of 150cc, while the remaining ten have engines with capacities ranging from 400cc to 1300cc. This implies that Suzuki Malaysia is still missing a 250cc model, which is a popular segment in the country. However, we have learned that Suzuki Malaysia will release the V-Strom 250 SX in the local market.
This is due to the presence of that model conducting road tests in Malaysia becoming obvious when we were in the vicinity of the Suzuki Malaysia headquarters in Glenmarie. However, it is unclear when the model will be released.
The ADV motorcycle, however, is equipped with a single-cylinder 250cc engine with oil cooling, SOHC 4-valve Fi capable of producing 26hp at 9,300rpm and 22.2Nm at 7,300rpm, based on the specifications of the V-Strom 250 SX released in India. Surprisingly, the V-Strom SX shares design characteristics with its "big brother," the V-Strom 1050 XT.
Among the additional features available are:

Simultaneously, this model is outfitted with intriguing electrical features, such as the Suzuki Ride Connect Edition with Bluetooth capabilities and the Suzuki Easy Start System, which makes starting the engine easier.
The Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX is priced at INR 211,600 (RM11,900) for the Indian market. AUD 6490 (19,399.02) for the Australian market. Unknow for MYR for the Malaysia market.
Separate rider and passenger seats with textured seat material hold well and have ample cushioning for comfort on long rides.
The 10-spoke cast wheels (17-inch rear/19-inch front) are matched with dual-channel ABS abs 310mm (front) and 240mm discs.
The solid grab bar and rear carrier has 6kg load rating and four hooks, making the V-Strom SX ideal for two-up riding and touring.
Hand guards help reduce the effect of wind, rain and small rocks on the rider's hands. This adds comfort and reduces fatigue during changable weather.
A USB charging outlet sits on the left side of the instrument cluster, back lit and easy to use in low light situation.
The windscreen was streamlined through real riding tests to be compact yet offer highly functional wind protection.
Footpegs are covered with thich rubber to reduce vibration, which in turn lessens fatigue, especially on long rides and on unpaved roads.
And hopefully Suzuki Malaysia will offer model options which provide a whole bunch of accessories. In other country, they are still sold separately.
